​Aloha! I’m Zack. Growing up on the North Shore, the ocean was more than just a beautiful backdrop—it was our way of life. Like many kids here, my days were filled with fishing, diving, and countless hours riding the waves. In these waters, I not only found fun but also a deep-rooted respect and understanding of the ocean’s rhythms.
The North Shore Ohana School of Surfing is a family-owned business, grounded in these very traditions of our local community. While being a professional surfer is a gift, not every surfer can translate their skills into teaching. That’s where my true passion lies. I want to help you get over any fears, find the joy in surfing, and make sure that joy sticks with you long after our lesson ends.
